Objective: to provide three revisions of the EEGI Roadmap and Implementation plan for TSOs which include a benefit assessment based on the program and project Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

It is assumed that the current version of the EEGI roadmap will be the basis to start the three road map iterations over years 2012, 2013 and 2014. It includes:

  • The functional projects which involve TSO only
  • The functional projects which involve contributions from DSOs but are managed by TSOs.

The TSO part of the EEGI road map will be disseminated at the start of the support action.

The whole process is described below. It stresses feed-back processes from stakeholders aiming at gathering input from the following target groups:

  • Group 1: Power technology manufacturers and ICT providers. They are in many cases partners integrated into RD&D activities to be performed under the management of TSOs, and providing technologies under tendering from TSOs.
  • Group 2: Other stakeholders: Generators, Aggregators, Transmission Grid connected players (industry, wind parks), Governmental bodies, Regulatory bodies, Consumer organisations, Environmental organisations, the European Commission. They are expected to bring valuable inputs in terms of future network services to meet their own needs as grid internal or grid external players.

Interactions with public or private RTD providers are supposed to come from the mapping of R&D activities and interactions with activities at EU level to be performed in WP1 and WP2.
